Listener Supported Heavy Metal Podcast

I am very proud to announce that this site’s new heavy metal podcast, Another Metal Podcast is now listener supported on the crowdfunding platform Patreon!

As regular and new listeners know, my bi-weekly hour-long block of brand new heavy metal is completely commercial and sponsor free, featuring great new music and great new music only. I for one do not want to spend time slinging useless products at you, and as music fans and I know you don’t want that either; you want to bang your heads to some killer bands. But reality is what it is and that includes trying to juggle this show with a full-time job, so instead of taking on any paid promotional opportunities I have opted to make AMP a purely listener supported stage for nothing but the best new underground heavy metal from across the globe. No stamps or roof cleaning, just heavy fucking metal.

I would be beyond grateful for any support the metal community gives and the stronger that support the more new music I can bring to you on a regular basis. The important thing for me is giving new and unheard bands the best possible platform so that you, as die-hard metalheads, can be exposed to them and support them by buying their music, merchandise, and tickets or just simply telling your friends about them. There is a lot of great music out there and I absolutely love digging through it all to bring you a solid platter of it every other week. With your support, I can spend the time to not only bring you longer episodes but make them more frequent. And who doesn’t need more awesome metal?

Even if you don’t support this passion project financially, I would love for you to still listen to the show, check out the playlist for the band’s links and support them instead. That is, after all, the main idea behind this whole thing. We all know how strong the metal community is, make it stronger with your support, whether it’s this podcast or the bands themselves, and that doesn’t even need to involve your wallet; spreading the word is just as good.
